TiG Pilot (browser extension)

Last updated: 25 July 2026

TiG Pilot fills job application forms and German authority forms with the details you saved, attaches the documents you uploaded or generated, and tracks the applications you marked as submitted. It exists to serve you — we do not track your browsing, we do not sell data, and we never act without your click.

Who we are

TiG Talents in Germany UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany — the operator of talentsingermany.de. Contact: privacy@talentsingermany.de. Full website policy: /privacy.

What the extension processes, and why

  • Your profile data (name, contact details, address, work authorization, languages, education and work history) — provided by you on our website or the extension's settings page, stored on our servers (EU-hosted database), and used for exactly one purpose: filling application forms when you press Fill.
  • Your documents (CV, motivation letter — your uploads and AI-generated drafts) — stored on our servers so the extension can attach them to upload fields when you ask it to.
  • Job posting content — when you press Fill, generate a document, or request AI answers, the visible text of the job page (title, company, description, the form's question labels) is sent to our servers to tailor the output. It is processed via the OpenAI API to generate the document or answer text and is not used to train models.
  • Answers you type into custom application questions can be remembered (with your submission) so the next form asking the same question is pre-filled. Sensitive categories (demographics, disability, consents) are never remembered.
  • Application tracking — the job URL, title and company of applications you explicitly mark as submitted, shown on your own dashboard.
  • Official-form details, stored only in your browser — for German authority forms the extension can fill fields a job application never asks for (Geburtsort, Familienstand, Ausweisnummer, Steuer-ID, Sozialversicherungsnummer, Krankenkasse, IBAN). You enter these in the extension's settings and they are stored locally by your browser only: they are never transmitted to our servers, never included in any AI request, and are deleted when you remove the extension or press Delete all of this. A field you leave empty is never guessed — the form field is left for you.
  • Session cookie — the extension talks to talentsingermany.de using your existing login session. We use no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers in the extension.

What the extension does NOT do

  • It does not read or record your browsing history.
  • It does not collect anything from pages that are not job application or official forms — the content script detects those forms and stays inert everywhere else.
  • It never submits a form, ticks a legal declaration, or accepts terms on your behalf. On official forms it writes values into fields; pressing send is always yours.
  • On authority forms, filling happens entirely on your device. If you press What is this form asking?, the form's field labels (page structure — e.g. "Geburtsort", "Steuer-ID") are sent to our server and processed via the OpenAI API to explain each field. Never anything you typed, and never your saved details.
  • It never touches password fields.
  • It never submits an application — you always press send.
  • It does not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Processors

We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (EU database), OpenAI (document/answer generation, API — no training on your data) and Polar (payment processing as merchant of record, only if you buy the one-time Germany Plan — nothing on the platform is a subscription). Payment details are handled entirely by Polar; we never see card numbers.

Retention & your rights (GDPR)

Your data stays until you delete it. You can export or permanently delete your account and all associated data anytime from your account settings. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes

We'll update this page when the extension's data handling changes and note the date above.
