Why it is free, and who we are
A fair question to ask of anyone offering something at no cost.
How the company earns
Talents in Germany is a small company registered in Germany. The guides, calculators and tools are free and stay free — there is no student tier and no paywall behind them. Some people later ask us for paid one-to-one help with their own case, and that is the whole business model. We are not paid by universities, we do not recruit or place students for anyone, and we take no commission from employers.
What this is not
- Not a student recruitment agency — we do not source, screen or place applicants
- Not an admissions service, and not an intermediary for any institution
- Not legal advice — the guides explain what an office asks for and point at the official source
