This website is hosted on Vercel; our database is operated by Neon. When you visit the website, technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system and access time may be processed automatically in server log files.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure technical stability and security.

TiG Pilot, private questions and community posting use an account with email-code login. Public guides, calculators and templates can be used without signing in. A Germany Plan request creates an account record for the submitted email if one does not already exist; you can sign in later to view the plan.

If you use the extension, we process the data you provide for the purpose of preparing and submitting job applications on your instruction: your profile (name, contact details, work history, education, skills), uploaded CVs, generated application documents and the status of your applications. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the service you requested).

AI features such as CV parsing, document generation and form answers send the relevant profile and job text to OpenAI. Plan drafting uses your questionnaire answers. Drafting a reply to a private question uses the question and relevant page or procedure context. OpenAI states that API data is not used for model training by default; its retention rules depend on the API feature and account controls. We do not promise zero retention by OpenAI. The TiG Desk mobile app asks before it sends anything to an AI service, names what will be sent, and remembers the answer; it can be changed at any time in the app under Settings → “AI explanations”. When allowed, the app sends the TEXT extracted from a scanned document — never the image or the file — to OpenAI through our servers, with long digit sequences masked first. It is used to explain a letter or recognise what a scan is. The letter-explanation endpoint returns the explanation to your device without saving the submitted letter text in our database. Private questions and their replies are saved separately so you can read them in your account.

Optional uses of your profile — marketing emails and recruiter/headhunting matching — happen only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can change at any time in your profile settings.

The TiG Desk mobile app stores your documents and their contents on your device. If you sign in, your appointments (type, time, notes and checklist state) are stored on our servers to enable backup and reminders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Document files never leave your device: there is no upload and no document sync of any kind. The app offers to protect them with Face ID or your fingerprint. You can delete your account and all server-side data directly in the app.

If you contact us via email, the information you provide, such as name, email address, and message content, will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

A Germany Plan questionnaire collects the contact details, qualifications, work history and personal circumstances you enter, including your plans, budget and any family information you choose to provide. We store the answers, report drafts and delivered report to prepare and deliver the service. Private questions, replies and their page or procedure context are also stored in your account. TiG administrators can review these records; service notifications are sent through Resend.

Ausbildung employer and agency enquiry forms also collect your organisation, contact details, location and training needs. We save the request in our database and make it available to TiG administrators. An email notification is sent through Resend; the saved request remains available if that notification fails. We also save broad source and entry-page categories with your enquiry, and record follow-up progress. On these pages, a browser-tab session value keeps those categories for up to 30 minutes. It does not contain search terms, full referrer URLs or a personal identifier. Please do not submit candidate files or identity documents in these forms.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Newsletter: if you subscribe to our email tips, we store your email address, language and confirmation timestamp (double opt-in) and use them solely to send the emails you requested. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time.

We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics. Because of that there is no cookie banner to click away.

For aggregate usage statistics we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not follow you across websites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding which pages actually help).

If you create an account, we set a strictly necessary session cookie so you stay logged in. It is required for the service to work and is deleted when you sign out.

Our tools (for example the visa checker) save your answers in your own browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. That data stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Some links on our comparison pages (for example /compare) are affiliate links. They are labelled as advertising on the page itself. If you click one and then take out a contract with that provider, we receive a commission. The price you pay is unaffected.

Clicking such a link sends you first to the affiliate network (financeAds GmbH & Co. KG or communicationAds GmbH & Co. KG) and then on to the provider. The network sets a cookie on its own domain so that the referral can be attributed to us; typical lifetimes are 30 to 60 days. We do not set any cookie for this on talentsingermany.de, and our redirect stores no IP address and no identifier — only an anonymous counter of how often an offer was clicked.

We receive from the networks only aggregate statistics (clicks and concluded contracts). We never learn who you are or what you signed. The data processing that happens after you leave our site is the responsibility of the network and the provider — please see their privacy policies.
