This website is hosted on Vercel; our database is operated by Neon. When you visit the website, technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system and access time may be processed automatically in server log files.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure technical stability and security.

Creating an account (email-code login, no password) is only required for TiG Pilot. All guides, calculators and templates work without an account.

If you use the extension, we process the data you provide for the purpose of preparing and submitting job applications on your instruction: your profile (name, contact details, work history, education, skills), uploaded CVs, generated application documents and the status of your applications. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the service you requested).

AI features (CV parsing, document generation, form answers) send the relevant profile and job text to OpenAI as a processor; the data is not used to train their models per our API terms.

Optional uses of your profile — marketing emails and recruiter/headhunting matching — happen only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can change at any time in your profile settings.

The TiG Desk mobile app stores your documents and their contents on your device. If you sign in, your appointments (type, time, notes and checklist state) are stored on our servers to enable backup and reminders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Document files never leave your device: there is no upload and no document sync of any kind. The app offers to protect them with Face ID or your fingerprint. You can delete your account and all server-side data directly in the app.

If you contact us via email, the information you provide, such as name, email address, and message content, will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Newsletter: if you subscribe to our email tips, we store your email address, language and confirmation timestamp (double opt-in) and use them solely to send the emails you requested. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time.

We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics. Because of that there is no cookie banner to click away.

For aggregate usage statistics we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not follow you across websites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding which pages actually help).

If you create an account, we set a strictly necessary session cookie so you stay logged in. It is required for the service to work and is deleted when you sign out.

Our tools (for example the visa checker) save your answers in your own browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. That data stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
